Apart from the chat assistant, which is explained below, the site collects nothing about you. Every page is made in advance and sent to you as a plain file. No page has analytics, adverts, tracking pixels or content embedded from another company. You don’t need an account or a login.

The fonts are stored on this website too, so reading a page doesn’t send a request to another company.

The site sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser’s storage. So there is no cookie banner, because there is nothing for you to agree to.

The site is hosted by [Hosting provider] (to be confirmed). Like any web host, its servers may record basic details of each visit. These can include your IP address, the time, the page you opened and your browser type. The host uses these records for security and to keep the site working. The records belong to the host, and the host’s own privacy policy covers them instead of this notice.

The contact form on this site isn’t connected to anything. It has no server, email service or database behind it. So if you type a message into it, the message isn’t saved and nobody receives it.

If the form is connected in future, this section will be rewritten on the same day. Another company’s service will then handle what you type, and this section will name that company.

The “Ask a question” box sends your question to this website’s server. The server first looks for a matching answer among answers written for this site.

If there is no ready answer, your last few chat messages may be sent to OpenRouter, an outside AI service, so that an AI model can write a reply. OpenRouter passes them to the company that runs that model. Their own privacy policies cover what happens to your messages there.

When the AI writes a reply, the question and the reply may be saved so that the next person who asks the same thing gets the same answer without the AI being asked again. Only general questions are saved: nothing with an email address or a phone number in it, and nothing long enough to be about one person’s own situation. Your IP address is not saved with it. Saved answers are stored with Upstash, a database service, and kept until Bilal Bashir deletes them.

Your chat itself isn’t saved, and it disappears when you leave or reload the page. To stop misuse, the server keeps your IP address in its memory for a short time, to count how many questions are sent. Please don’t type personal details into the chat, such as a phone number or a student’s full name.

If you send a message by email or a messaging app, it stays in the normal inbox of that service. Your message is used to answer your question and to arrange lessons. After that, messages are kept for [Message retention period] (to be confirmed). They are not sold, published or used for marketing.

If a student is under 18, a parent or guardian should make the first contact. The only information asked for is what’s needed to arrange and run lessons. The lesson arrangement is confirmed in writing with the parent or guardian before lessons start.

Data protection law in [Governing jurisdiction] (to be confirmed) may give you some rights. You may be able to find out what information is held about you. You may also be able to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. Please send any request to the email address in the first section.
